Hope you find some great dress fabric soon! Summer there, and winter in our hemisphere. We recently went through a snow ...

Re: 2017 Mini Projects

I also finally figured out how to make them puffy, which I'm absolutely thrilled about! I'm not sure what I'll do with them, though. These are gorgeous! How fun! Jars with puffy lids make great pincushions. You can keep your M&Ms in the glass for when you take a break from your stitching and ne...

Thank you everyone for your kind words and encouragement!

I actually feel good about continuing this unfinished project in 18ct Aida now. If I ever feel stuck again, I'll come back and read your posts to get motivated.

Re: Hi everybody !

Hello and a very warm welcome from Vancouver, Washington! I am new to this forum as well, so it's great meeting others who share my enthusiasm for needlework. I too am a very long time stitcher! There was a time, a long long time ago, when my "finished" work took up more space than my &quo...

Re: New member, hello!

I love visiting needlework shops! I have to check out Threadneedle Street next time we drive up that way. One of the remaining shops in my area is "Acorns & Threads" in Beaverton, Oregon. If you're passing by, I highly recommend you stop by. Your wallet may be lighter but you'll feel a...

Re: New member, hello!

And the funny thing is it was my younger son who found this forum for me :) I run a lot of my ideas by him (we both share a passion for design!), so he is more familiar than he would like to about the DMC color...
