Re: Husband of a cross stitcher & I need advice on birthday
one thing my doctor recommended for my neck issues is to wear a cervical collar as it takes the stress off the neck trying to hold everything up. it allows the neck to relax which can be especially helpful while stitching.

Re: For yourself or others....
I've given away most things I've made but this coming year, apart from making a few cards, I intend doing pictures for DH & myself. I got so carried away with stitching pictures for others last year I forgot to make cards!! Sooo, this year when I've finished my 2 current WIPs, which are ...

For yourself or others....
I recently realized that I have never done a cross stitch project for myself. Everything I've ever done I have given away. As a matter of fact, I never even started one unless I had a reason to give it to someone...wedding, baby, etc. I will say though that I only give to those I feel would ...

From someone familiar with family stress and didn't take care of myself......
Please don't neglect yourself. Find time each day to relax, meditate or even stitch a few because you are worth it. Your marriage will benefit and you might prevent more health issues.

Please explain forum icons...
I looked but could not find the explanation of the icons next to posts. They all look like lined paper with various marks on them. I have a strong feeling that I'm going to feel silly when I find out.

Re: Yikes! I got it dirty.
Just an update. I used a rag and some laundry soap and dabbed at only the places that needed cleaning. Then rinsed the same way. Worked like a charm. Thanks for all the suggestions.
It is now finished, waiting on the birth to add the name. Will post when all finished and framed.

The shop is called Ocean Woodworks. I really love all the adjustments.
lcamp wrote:PattyMac, would you mind sharing which Etsy shop you bought this from? I love that it has a chart holder! Very nice.
Mabel, it's so nice to be able to see, isn't it? It ought to make stitching easier for you!
