Wondered how do most of you mark stitches worked on a paper chart? I used highlighter to start with but a few years ago changed to pencil as easy to erase if I make a mistake. Thank you for warm welcome messages. I enjoy seeing what others buy so imagine I will be adding things to my stash.

Once I start preparing threads & Aida for next project will put picture up but that won't be for a couple of weeks. I am looking forward to stitching the row of cottages.

Thought I'd better join as I've been lurking in the shadows for ages, don't want to be had up for loitering! This seems a nice friendly site, lots of tips & it seems all are willing to help if you need advice. I'm 68 & returned to cross stitch 8 years ago when I retired. It is too many years...
