Patsy cos it's what my dad used to call me due to my being born on St Paddy's day.

I've not started my HaED's (yet) but they recommend doing 2 over 1 on 25ct evenweave (or sometimes 25ct linen). That's what they base their thread usage estimates on for their webpage. Finally remembered to take a piccie after the end of UFO week. It's now on hold again till the beginning of next month while I work on my WIPS.

I have a Rowandean in my stash somewhere. I've had it for many years and have never actually put in the first stitch but I live in hope.

I do the same as Mabel for starting but I seldom use the loop method just start by stitching over the ends. The dress is so effective, you can really see the fold and creases in the fabric. Can't wait to see more of it.
