I remember doing paper weaving in school, and I loved it. I didn’t do anything as fancy as the twill.

Using paper with words is an awesome idea.

Re: 2023 Quick Daily Posts

DH shared his Covid with me. People say it’s just a cold or a flu. They are wrong. Everything hurts. Even my teeth and hair. How is that possible.

Re: 2023 Quick Daily Posts

For the first time, Covid hit my home. DH is now locked in the basement.

Pharmacists are allowed to prescribe Paxlovid, so I picked that up today so he can start immediately.

Esmee's bib is leading to all sorts of experiments with heavy-weight interfacing! Here is the first, a magnetic floral brooch based on a print by our talented niece Vicky (I have her permission to use the design for embroidery!) She does, but it’s actually nice. She doesn’t usually cuddle other than when I’m falling asleep.

Re: Pets of the community

Yesterday I cut Skye’s nails. She does not enjoy it. It was hard to get a picture, but this is after it was done. She curls up in a tiny ball and covers her face with her paws. While I cuddle her she eventually starts to purr.

Re: 2023 St Cross Stitchers Hospital

MRI was delayed by hospital, but I finally got it done last weekend. My FP sent me a copy of the report, and an email telling me to book an appointment to discuss. I already have an appointment booked with the sports med doctor, so I asked if I needed both. He said no because first I need physio, an...

I have a few plans. I’m also ordering 2 more sets of pliers. Who knew there were so many kinds just for beading.

Re: 2023 Deliveries & Stash Acquisition

My SIL has been inviting me to go shopping with her to second hand stores on Seniors Discount Days. I found a bag of beading supplies for about $7.50 (CAD). The 3 wheels of cording would usually cost that much. https://i.imgur.com/NlEFN5O.jpg Then I dug out my other supplies. https://i.imgur.com/8zS...
