My ornament will be on its way to Canada tomorrow. I'm so sorry, I got so busy with setting up a caregiver for my mom, it totally slipped out of my head when to mail it.

Yay!! I'm so glad it made it there safe and sound. Thank goodness the USPS got it there. I always worry a bit with international shipping.

In fairness, I did give my husband some of them and asked him to wrap them for me for Christmas. And some from the kiddo too. I just like picking out ones I know I will work on, and not ones that he thinks I'll like.

We all spend a bit on our stashes - but that's ok. There are way worse things to spend money on. Stitching gives us all hours of pleasure.

You'll be an expert in French knots. Mine aren't perfect, but again, that's ok.

Love all the littles! I'm working on a few ornaments for teacher gifts for my kiddo's school, and for the gift exchange with my department at work!

I love that one! I totally agree, I wouldn't want to stitch all that black either. I hope your eyes are better than mine with all that stitching on black.

That's a beautiful piece! I love the specialty stitches and how you had the patience to actually wait to start stitching it. I'm not sure that I would have had the patience to wait.

I never knew there was an actual name for them until I read this post. I do both.

Usually, if I have large blocks of colors, I'll do the running, and if there's a lot of confetti or if I'm using a variegated thread I do full crosses.
