Re: Marie Therese Saint Aubin fans?
Ha ha, we always need more... Her designs are really impressionistic and beautiful. I’ve done a couple of roses and peonies, will get round to pics at some point. I’m working on foxgloves from her new book at the mo, called ‘merveilleuse nature.’ It’s on amazon, lots of her stuff is out of print tho...

Marie Therese Saint Aubin fans?
Hey everyone, back after a long time!
Any fans of MTSA on here? I love her stuff and wondered if I’m alone? She never seems to be mentioned in magazines either.

Re: Weight Watchers Stitchers
Non-food incentives are a great idea - as long as it's not more stash! I'm reaching overload...
I went back to Weightwatchers on 7th Jan, and so far have lost 11lbs. My head's in the right place at the mo.

Re: Weight Watchers Stitchers
Hi everyone
Anyone on here still weight watching, or doing other slimming plans?
I've just got back on the wagon. I am much more resolved this time, but finding it time consuming, as ww have changed everything.
I weigh on Thursdays.
Anyone else?

Hi everyone. Happy New Year! Well, nearly for us in the UK. Here are my 3 finishes since the summer. http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg488/lucyscarlet35/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpscvpy6di0.jpg http://i1240.photobucket.com/albums/gg488/lucyscarlet35/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsk9vns1dg.jpg http://i1...

I have stuff on my amazon wish list, and eBay watch list, and if family members ask, I direct them to that. Only if they ask!

Re: Red Heart Thread?
Great idea.
I do have some Red Heart, which I've just checked for you, but sadly no 291.
I didn't know they corresponded to Anchor.

I really feel for you. I'm certainly not cut out for the pressure of retail/sales; a member of my family was driven to a breakdown through high pressure sales.

I'm so sorry to hear this
At least you and Laverne have each other, and you know Shirley is at peace. As James Herriot says, the one disservice our beloved pets do us, is to not live as long as us.
Thoughts and virtual hugs to you both xx

Re: My first MTSA
Thanks everyone
Does anyone else 'go off' their work when it's done? I am just always much less in love with it when it's finished.
I am the same with cooking - don't fancy it when I've made it!
Weird, huh?

Great links. Maybe my next one will be better ( though I'm charting it myself so I'm not sure!).

Re: My first MTSA
Thanks guys :D It was my first time with evenweave too, which I found mainly fine, but it was hard to keep some of my stitches straight/upright. Hoop or no hoop didn't seem to make much difference. When I referred to her picture though, a lot of her stitches weren't very straight, so I stopped stres...

My first MTSA
Hi everyone Last night I finished my first design by Marie Therese Saint Aubin. It's been quite fast - I only started it on Saturday (but it is the first week of the hols; I have been stitching all day every day, and late into the night. Or morning). As usual, now I've finished it I've 'gone off' it...
