Re: Aurora Cabin Start

Thought I'd give you all a little update on this one. I had a lot of fun working on this with all those nieces and nephews around, they really enjoyed seeing me stitch. One of the boys in particular was so in love with it, I think I'm going to have to invest in some small stitching kits and teach hi...

Re: Holy Night Stocking UPDATE 1/21

Thanks all for the support, and I'm sorry Mr. :anotherfrog: seems to be making his appearance often at the start of the year for so many of us! The anatomy scan went well, though baby was awake and very squirmy! The technician had to chase her all over the place! And it looks like we will be adding ...

Re: Holy Night Stocking UPDATE 1/8

Just had to give an update on this one, even though it's not much. I took a break this week from Aurora Cabin to do a little work on this one. What I thought was going to be a little work ended up turning into a nightmare. I moved my q-snap and started on the next color called Pewter that outlines t...

Aurora Cabin UPDATE 1/22

Hey all! Hope you aren't sick of seeing this kit, Ive seen that quite a few people have done this one in the past. I did some prep work last week, I'm hoping it will speed up my stitching in the long run. This is my first time stitching grid lines and even though it took a while, I'm really enjoying...

Re: Most important

I love my q-snaps! I just discovered them a couple months ago and I don't think I will ever go back to the hoops again! I'm sure at some point I will invest in a stand, but for the projects I do at this point, the q-snaps are great! I do need to invest in a handy light though. The lighting at the pl...

So fantastic! Gotta bookmark this thread for myself since I just barely started stitching this kit. If only my needle stitched as fast as yours!

Re: how did you start?

Love reading everyone's stories! So I'll add mine. :) My grandma was an avid cross stitcher and crafter in general as I was growing up. Every time us grandkids went to her house she would have a new craft for us to do, it was a blast. I don't remember how old I was, but pretty young between 6-8 year...

Re: How to find copyright owner?

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I did a Google image search with both of the images and i get some listings from AliExpress and Ebay that have the three pandas but the descriptive names don't match the Amazon listing.

How to find copyright owner?

So I was surfing Pinterest the other day and found a pin linked to a listing on an Etsy shop for a cute little panda chart that I thought would be nice to do for my sister. https://www.etsy.com/listing/209316628/cross-stitch-pattern-pdf-panda But then I was checking up on an order on Amazon and this...

Re: Spangoid's various bits - Panther update

I love your black work kitty! I made a couple redwork roosters for my moms kitchen for Christmas and I was surprised at how fast they finished up too! It's nice to have a quick project every now and again. :)

Great progress on the panther too! Love all those pretty colors!

Beautiful quilt! Great work! And I am loving the Japanese one, I might have to add that to my wish list! My sister loves Asian culture (she is often mistaken for an Asian even though our ancestry is mostly German/Scottish that I know of) and I've been looking for a nice cross stitch to do for her fo...

Holy Night Stocking UPDATE 1/21

Just wanted to show off the progress on my sons Holy Night stocking. My grandma made stockings for all of us when I was a kid, so I'm hoping to pass along the tradition. :) Normally I like to do the whole color in the cross stitch before I move on to the next, but I was finding that counting it all ...
