Fleur, I have been thinking about the verse you want to stitch, and here's what I think... I presume your husband is a Police Officer? If so, I would stitch the verse for yourself... and your Hubby. It's way too much work to give away (the first time at least) I think it is a wonderful verse... well...

Well Fleur... I believe you can do it. However, it IS A HUGE Cross stitch project that will take a lot of planning and designing. But when you look at the "Michelangelo" thread, it seems to be totally do-able! I design all my own work. I have only really thought about this since I have joi...

I get them from my local library.... free. I also have a good set of headphones so I don't annoy the family! Bliss! :D

I just discovered how to enjoy me favourite book and stitch at the same time!!!
AUDIO BOOKS!
Today I stitched for 3 hours whilst listening to a book by one of my favourite authors
Sue Grafton... How good is that? Why didn't I think of this sooner?

Can you put a photo of the family tree on fr us al to see, please. Rosemary Will do Rosemary... as soon as it's something to see! I have nearly completed the first stage, but the rest is in my mind (and on my computer) so I will post photo's when I have done enough for you to see the concept! :thinks:

I may have to get involved with a SAL to increase my WIP's! :D

I am working on a "Family Tree" (of sorts) that's going to take me months to complete, so maybe I will have a list soon!
