I agree--I'd like to see just w h at yo u are creating. Not sure I'm visualizing properly. Have made x-stitch cards before. Paper cards with stitched elements framed or glued on cardstock. You are talking about something different, I believe...

Large works I always cover with glass. Spacers if I've used buttons or other embellishments. Very dissatisfied with non glare glass. Sounds good in theory, but makes piece "muddy" or less bright.

I will mention a bias I have. It seems that the European designs for samplers, biscornus and beadwork is so much more attractive than what I see coming from stateside designers. Please convince me otherwise - I'm probably just very limited in the sites and publications I'm seeing

I've just finished some Valentine cards - a read hodge-podge of my cardstock and scrapbooking supplies along with small stitch designs that seem to fit the recipient. Been stitching since 1980. Addiction, yes. Pain reliever, yes! Treasures in my home and many others as a result. Can t wait to see the Gallery for inspiration!
