It works perfectly! Just what I wanted. Even tho some of the resulting finish dates are really shocking. Just means I need to stitch more. Right?
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Re: Stitch tracking log
Thanks Richard. The main things I would like to tract or my starting number of stitches, number of stitches per day, and a projected time of finish. I know it sounds simple but I realize its not. I'm not good at spreadsheets and formulas or I would make it myself. I don't want/need all the nitty gri...

Stitch tracking log
Hi everyone! I'm Baaaack! Have been reading all the posts and it is so good to see everyone still here. I have a question. I have tried searching but no luck. Probably the person entering the search has something to do with it. But, I am looking for a stitch tracking app or spreadsheet, etc. I don't...

Good Morning!
It has been awhile since my last visit and I felt I needed to check in. Life has been a bit busy. I finished my first HAED. Mini Yellow Roses was finished in December. It took me 18 months. Had planned for 6 months but had under estimated the confetti. So glad I'm finished. Wolf Variant is progressi...

Re: Quilting Fabric Question
Oh Thank you DisneyStitcher, what a process. The quilt was fairly new. I'm not sure if Mom ever washed it, if so not but a time or two. Possibly never. It's one of the last that she made. Do I need to be in a hurry to wash it, or can it sit for awhile? Its been 2 weeks now. Time is an issue for me. ...

Re: Quilting Fabric Question
I wasn't sure about just washing first. Didn't know if when I washed it and the stain didn't come out, if the stain would "set" or not.
Quilting is not my thing. It was my mothers. I just don't want to ruin it further.

Quilting Fabric Question
Hi All, Been away for awhile now. Life has just gotten so busy and complicated. I have 3 HAEDS started. One I hope to finish by Christmas. Will try to post some pics later. But, I have a problem and am need of advice. We just went through 5 days of Hurricane Harvey rain (35 + inches of rain) and the...

Re: Artecy designs
Oh how lovely!! Love the mouse! Thank you for your honest response. I am working on 2 HAEDs now, and they do have some lovely charts, but I will agree that the symbols can be a pain. My 2nd start, Friendship Fairy is terrible. It has alot of black and guess what? Yep, the symbol for the black in is ...

Artecy designs
Good morning everyone! I've been crusing the web this morning and came across a site that I've visited quite a bit but never purchased from. I was just wondering how the Artecy charts compare to the HAED charts. Quality, detail, etc. Anyone ever stitch them?

Re: Help with Magnifyers etc
I have a floor light with magnifier, but, I have found that I can not use the magnifier with the light. Drives me crazy. I have found that if I just use a pair of "cheaters", the ones that you buy at the pharmacy or a dollar store, it works better for me. I have several pair. My favs or a ...

Re: Follow Vickil's Projects
Thank you! I will have to admit that the confetti on Wolf Variant has almost kicked my butt. The first 10 x 10 had me wanting to throw my hands up and walk off. But I have learned soo much and having soo much fun. Since I could not resist and started the 2nd one, I'm trying to decide how I am going ...

Follow Vickil's Projects
Hi everyone! I think life has finally settled down since the holidays are over. I finally have time to post some pics of my projects. I started my first HAED in November. I had found a picture of the Wolf Variant by Bente Schlick that I fell in love with. Did not know that it was a HAED until after ...

Re: Anyone stitch from patterns viewed on Amazon Fire?
I have a Kindle Fire and this has been my experience. It will depend on what version of Kindle you have. The Kindle does not work with everything. I personally am using Foxit PDF. It is the only PDF app that I can get to work and handle the files on my device. I have dropbox, and to get it you have ...

Re: First HAED Project
Update-Progress is slow. Finally received my fabric and I am in the process of gridding. Have come to realize I hate it. And this will probably be my last time for it. I am still working on my vertical rows and have just about talked myself into stopping when I get those done. At this rate I might g...

Re: First HAED Project
Still waiting for my fabric to be shipped. I ordered the 22 ct hardanger from Heaven and Earth on the 2nd. Sure will be glad when it gets here. The one good thing is that it is already surged. Will only have to grid. Trying to finish up a Christmas gift, and still have to sort my floss and put in ba...

Re: First HAED Project
Update-I decided to go with the 22 ct. Just not feeling comfortable with the 25 ct, tho I'm gonna miss stitching on the lugana. Maybe by the time I finish this piece I'll be ready to use it. But the old dog is not wanting to change her ways. i'm going down kicking about changing how I stitch. ...
