Four Seasons Birds

Hi All. Been awhile but I'm back. I found this cute little kit by Ready, set, stitch in a thrift store and couldn't resist. Some confetti but not too terrible... Nice happy pattern :) http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h118/wtnlvr/20170103_181312.jpg Progress: http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h118/w...

Re: Dreaming of Tuscany

Thanks all!. Anything will be small after my 10 year long project I did of a TW dragon- so it's all relative-LOL

Re: Dreaming of Tuscany

At the half way mark. Haven't been doing much stitching this summer, but now that fall is here I'm hoping to change that:)

Re: Stained Glass

All the pieces have been ground down to size. Now they are getting a bath and then I put the copper foil on all the pieces to get them ready to solder together.

Beautiful finish. Can't wait to see how you frame it. That is the fun part. Can't believe how neat the back is. I would never be able to accomplish that-LOL. :whoop:

Re: Blue Moonlit Night

Congrats on a great finish! I agree all that blue would have driven me bonkers and it's my favorite color. Framing is so over priced. It cost me $180 US dollars to frame my simple Snowmen project. I need to find a class on framing/ matt cutting- LOL

Stained Glass

I have done stained glass for many years but life has gotten in the way and I haven't done anything in several years. Now that I am settled into my new house (after almost 2 years LOL) I finally got my "studio" up and running again. Starting on a small project to get my feet wet again as i...

Re: Dreaming of Tuscany

Thanks all. Yes, loads of half stitches in these kits which make them go very fast which I like. I can't do 18 count anymore so I am doing it on 14 count. My eyes are too old-lol

Re: Blonde Stircher's Progress need a push

No easy answer to that. I did a project that started with a gazillion colors of blue sky. So boring as the main focus was a castle and a dragon-LOL. Just keep your eye on the prize as they say and keep on stitching. Could you move down on the left side and start a different color in the design? Just...

Re: Merry Christmas

Still chugging along. This is taking forever. I do about a square a day. At this rate I may be done in August-LOL Although after this row the pattern thins out so should go a lot faster. Then the dreaded backstitching...
