I really don't see how a lap stand would be very stable at all, wiggling and wobbling around in your lap if you applied any pressure at all while stitching. I'd think a floor stand would be 100% better. I've seen these and they are nice for those in the USA. http://www.artisandesign.com/" targe...

Can anyone tell me why this floss sells for 10 times more then the other floss???
Wal-Mart sells floss for 30 cents a skein. Why does this new floss sell for $3 a skein???
Is there gold in it or something?

Or am I just missing the whole point?

Here's an update. It's the top quarter or so done now. I removed the project from the scroll frame so as to hand stitch it. It's much easier for me to do it this way. Here's something I've been working on for awhile and I call it, Unknown World.

In this case, size should not matter.
Just follow the numbers, (count), and you should be OK.
