I can picture what you describe. When I see Jackson (my cat) or one of my grand dogs try to get traction on a tile or wood floor, it reminds me of watching cartoon characters trying to escape.

Using only two strands might add texture to the cat? Just guessing. I know it's going to look fabulous.

And with your smalls, you inspired me to get out my Leisure Arts books with Christmas smalls. Now that they're out, maybe I should stitch something from them.

I picked this up at the framer (Hobby Lobby) today. I had the idea to have the Metro map framed with it and I am over the moon with the result.

I do, too. I think it fits the vibe of the older (60 years ago) stop motion animation, giving it a cartoon-y feel.
