I did not want to spend too much on storage, better to spend it on stash! so I use a few of these plastic drawer towers.

I leave the threads I am working with just dangling off my scroll frame needles on,I dont really have a problem with them tangling. the ones that will be parked for a while, such as when I reach the bottom of a page, I wind them up into a neat loop and tie them to the fabric with a spare bit of flos...

I stitch every stitch of one color in a 10x10 square, then park the thread in the first stitch of the next square down. of course, its not always perfect, and I will stitch outside the current square when its only one stitch in the square beside. I dont want to start and end a thread for one or two ...

the way you are currently stitching is the way to use less. it is frustrating to run out of thread from a kit, usually they have extra are you leaving long tails in the back (running under more than a few stitches)? or have you cut threads due to impossible tangles? :thinks: sorry but those are the ...

I abandoned a project due to a big error, ( a few thousand stitches missaligned by one stitch) but aside from that fiasco I frog every little error, no matter how long ago it was made or how many stitches surround it. my mother left a barely noticeable error once, just one stitch in a confetti heavy...
