Anyone seen a pattern for this?
I saw this on a cross stitch site and pinned it for future reference. Now they don't have the pattern and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Has anyone seen this pattern for sale anywhere and know where I can find it? I would like to make this for my daughter and her husband. [URL=http://s1003.photob...

Re: How to finish a friend's deceased sister's project
Well, I did it! A wonderful member created a pattern for me from pictures I sent her of what my friend's sister had completed. I am now making another one straight from the pattern for my friend's other sister so they each have one. Just need to clean and press this one and go find a frame and mat f...

so excited. Got a pattern and can't wait to get going on this! I promise to post pics as I proceed with this (assuming I can figure out why the pic didn't show up in my o.p.).

XS email newsletters?
Do you get any email newsletters for XS? I searched and didn't see any topics about this although I did find that some people get a newsletter from the Nordic Needle so I did sign up for that one. I'm just tired of XS newsletters that are only promotional and would like to see something with tips, t...

Re: How to finish a friend's deceased sister's project
So I have someone who is going to try something creative with some software to see if she can come up with something for this. I'm really excited and if this works, I promise to post pics of the project as it's coming along! Keep the suggestions coming though! I'm having a rough time with this and r...

I thought it might be this one...http://www.stitchdirect.com/index.php/119001.html" target="_blank" target="_blank ... but it's too long. That could almost work, but the placement of the roses is pretty spread out on that one. The one my friend's sister started, has them right n...

Re: How to finish a friend's deceased sister's project
You guys are all so wonderful! I really appreciate all your input! Didn't see anything that matched but the bell pull is pretty close. I should have measured the fabric and given that in my original post. It's about 8" wide. I unrolled it and its about 2' long! Does make me wonder if it's...

How to finish a friend's deceased sister's project
Yeah, it sounds weird, but I am asking for help finding a way to finish a cross stitch started by a friend's deceased sister. Long story short, the sister of a friend of mine recently (like in the past few weeks) died of cancer. Her sister cross stitched, nobody else in the family did, so when my fr...

Okay, I edited my OP to include images of my UFO.
I COULD try to finish it. . . . If I can find the floss and pattern.

Sweet Freebies!
So I found out that we can post when a site is offering free patterns. YAY! One site I like is called "Create & Decorate" and I've gotten a few different free X-stitch patterns that I really like! Today they posted a new one for Christmas on their blog at: http://createanddecorate.word...

Re: What's the longest you've held onto a UFO?
Pattibelle, that's hilarious! We're like stitching twins in a weird, non-related way. LOL! I'll post a pic here once I dig out the project and once I figure out how to post pics in the forum.
Mystonique, I can understand why you haven't taken that project out. So sorry!
