Re: Wendy Wombat's stitches..update 24th August

That is so pretty! I agree that it reminds me of beautiful Wedgewood as well. Congratulations on this beautiful finish. You did a wonderful job and you should be proud of yourself.

Re: OT (sorta): Been gone a while

While I'm unable to work now due to medical reasons, every job I've ever had was retail and I grew to hate it. It made me sick. Seriously. I feel for you. It's good to hear from you. Try to work on the baby blanket and think of the toddler, not your sister.

Re: Coolpenguin's 2015 SAL-pg2 Aug 18 Baby bibs

Stitched this while at chemo today. Can't find the frame it goes in so I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. Between this and the stamped bibs, maybe my stitchy bug IS coming back.

Just a thread bump for this! I'm working on stamped baby bibs but I'm hoping to put a little work into this soon. My stitchy bug is still hiding for the most part.

Re: Coolpenguin's 2015 SAL-Minis Aug 2

Trying to get my stitchy bug back and making several stamped bibs. Here are the first two. I know some people don't like stamped projects but I enjoy them for the most part. The company (Bucilla) didn't send enough of the background blue on the duck so I replaced it with a blue in my stash that had ...

Re: Coolpenguin's OCEAN ABC SAL UPDATE 3/13 pg 2

My stitchy bug has been missing since January (did a little bit in March but not enough to count) and he's really being a bugger. I want him back so I"m trying to work on stamped baby bibs for my wife's niece but even that isn't working. Grrrr. :ratherbe:

Re: My stitchy bug ran away

I'm having fun checking out everyones projects. I'm forcing myself to work on stamped baby bibs. I might give them to a homeless shelter our church works with, I'm not sure. My wife's niece just announced her pregnancy so maybe she'll get them. Who knows.

I picked up a simple Dimensions kit from my stash yesterday and I managed to get about 20 stitches in. No more since then, though. Thanks for the kind words :ratherbe:
